THE HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

The Cornfield Job

Rondo Allen had planned the perfect Halloween heist: rob the town bank, cut through a cornfield, and disappear before anyone noticed. He even recruited his brother Tommy to stand guard, disguised as a scarecrow. Their niece Mckenzie would lie low in the cornfield, dressed as a pumpkin, just in case Rondo needed somewhere to stash the stolen money.

Everything went according to plan until Rondo reached the field and whispered, “Tommy, is that you?” The scarecrow nodded. Then another one nodded. And another.

Suddenly, Mckenzie's pumpkin began shaking. “Rondo,” she whispered, “I think something's wrong here!”

Rondo dropped the money and ran all the way home. Tommy arrived an hour later, looking confused. “Sorry I'm late. Couldn't find my costume.”

Mckenzie never came home that night.

The police recovered the cash, but nobody could explain why all the scarecrows were smiling—or why a giant pumpkin had appeared in the middle of the field.

Curse of The Grump

Pam Argyle had spent years perfecting spells, but one challenge remained: her husband Scott's grumpiness. He grumbled at trick-or-treaters, complained about the Halloween decorations, and even accused the jack-o'-lantern of looking at him funny.

On Halloween night, Pam decided she'd had enough. She tossed three bat wings, a pinch of fairy dust, and a piece of candy corn into her cauldron.

"One sip, and you'll be cheerful until sunrise!"

Scott sniffed the potion. "Smells like burnt socks." But he drank it anyway.

Immediately, Scott smiled. He complimented the decorations, danced with a skeleton, and even handed out full-size candy bars!

Pam was thrilled—until midnight, when she discovered her mistake. The spell hadn't removed Scott's grumpiness. It had transferred it.

The next morning, Scott was humming happily while sweeping the porch. Pam stood at the window, glaring at a squirrel.

"GET OFF MY LAWN!"

Scott just smiled. "You're adorable when you're grumpy."

A Monster of a Family

Joseph Frankenstein had always been proud of his family. His wife Katie was electrifying, and their daughter Annie was a little bundle of energy. Literally. She'd been struck by lightning three times before her fifth birthday.

On Halloween, Katie decided it was time for a new family portrait.

“Everybody smile!” announced the photographer.

Joseph grunted, Katie smiled & Annie giggled. And just as the photographer pressed the shutter, Annie sneezed.

A massive bolt of electricity shot through the room, knocking out power to the entire neighborhood.

When the lights finally came back on, the photographer was nowhere to be found. All that remained were her smoking shoes and a camera.

Katie picked up the camera and examined the photograph.

“Joseph! You're actually smiling!”

Joseph stared at the picture. “I was being electrocuted!”

Katie framed it anyway.

It was the nicest family portrait they'd ever taken.

One Clown Too Many

Ryan Argyle had fully embraced his old man costume. He'd been complaining about his knees since breakfast and was asleep in his recliner by seven.

His wife Erin decided Halloween shouldn't be so boring. With a flick of her witch's wand, she sent Bella, dressed as a terrifying clown, to jump out of the hallway.

"BOO!"

Ryan barely opened one eye. "Too loud. Turn off the lights."

Erin frowned. "Clearly we need two clowns."

She waved her wand, and a second Bella stepped out from the shadows.

This time Ryan bolted upright.

"That's better!" Erin said.

But Bella was staring at her double. "Mom... I haven't moved."

The second clown smiled, revealing far too many teeth.

Ryan grabbed his cane and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" Erin shouted.

"To the retirement home. They don't allow visitors after eight."

A Sting Operation

Rob Argyle considered himself an expert bee catcher. Unfortunately, his girlfriend Jessica had other plans. Dressed as a giant bee, she spent Halloween buzzing around the house, stealing candy and refusing to be caught.

Their son Kai, dressed as a policeman, decided it was time to restore law and order.

“FREEZE! You're under arrest for stealing Halloween candy!”

Jessica put her hands up, but before Kai could handcuff her, his little brother Ben came charging around the corner dressed as Huggy Wuggy.

“FREE HUGS!”

Ben tackled the suspect, Kai slapped on the handcuffs, and Rob finally captured his bee.

The boys celebrated their successful sting operation until Jessica reminded them of one important detail.

“Who do you think bought all that candy?”

Kai immediately dropped the charges.

Rob, however, was sentenced to six weeks of dish duty.

Nacho Family Smackdown

Mike Argyle, dressed as the world's suavest Nacho Libre, announced that nobody could defeat him in the Halloween wrestling championship.

His wife Shelby, dressed as a nun, shook her head. "Pride is a sin, you know."

Mila, dressed as Jessie from Toy Story, used her lasso to rope off the living room as a wrestling ring. Stella, dressed as Eevee, was in charge of growling at the crowd.

Then their toddler Grant waddled in wearing a tiny Nacho Libre costume.

"Finally, a worthy opponent!" Mike shouted.

The match lasted six seconds.

Grant stumbled forward, grabbed Mike's mustache, and pulled with all his might. Mike collapsed to the floor, howling in pain.

Mila counted to three. Stella cheered. Grant raised his sippy cup in victory.

"That's cheating!" Mike protested.

Shelby shook her head. "I've been praying for a miracle, but I wasn't expecting that."

And so, the youngest Argyle became the undefeated wrestling champion, while his father spent the rest of Halloween nursing his ego.

Top Gun: Nightmare Squadron

Ryan Arnold had declared himself the family’s fearless leader this Halloween. Dressed as Maverick, he strutted around the house shouting, “I feel the need… the need for speed!”

His wife Karen, dressed as Goose, rolled her eyes. “You got a speeding ticket last week, Maverick.”

Meanwhile, their son Axel, dressed as Freddy Krueger, was determined to terrify his sister Emma, who was dressed as Michael Jackson.

“Tonight, I'm coming for you in your dreams!” Axel warned.

Emma shrugged. “Cool. I'll teach you to dance.”

That night, Axel slipped into Emma's dreams, ready to unleash his worst nightmare. But instead, he found himself surrounded by dancing zombies as Thriller blasted from every direction.

“Five, six, seven, EIGHT!” Emma shouted.

Axel tried to escape, but every door led to another dance rehearsal.

By morning, Axel was exhausted, Emma was moonwalking through the kitchen, and Ryan was still pretending to fly fighter jets.

“Talk to me, Goose!” Ryan shouted.

Karen sighed. “Maverick, take out the garbage.”

“Negative, Goose. I'm on a mission!”

Karen grabbed her broom. “Then prepare to eject.”

For once, Maverick followed orders.

Jurassic Park: The Great Escape

Jacob and Crystal Bledsoe were the proudest park rangers at Jurassic Park. Their two children, however, were the reason the park's insurance premiums had tripled.

Colson, a pterodactyl, had developed a habit of swooping down and stealing people's lunches. His little sister Scarlet, a T-Rex, had eaten three security cameras and was working on a fourth.

“Jacob, you need to do something about YOUR children!” Crystal shouted.

“Why are they always MY children when they're misbehaving?”

Suddenly, an alarm sounded.

WARNING! DINOSAUR ENCLOSURE BREACHED!

Jacob grabbed his tranquilizer gun. Crystal jumped into the Jeep.

They raced toward the enclosure, only to find Colson perched on the fence and Scarlet standing beside a very large hole.

“Who broke the fence?” Jacob demanded.

Colson pointed at Scarlet.

Scarlet pointed at Colson.

Crystal sighed. “Nobody's getting dessert tonight.”

Both dinosaurs immediately burst into tears.

Jacob lowered his tranquilizer gun. “You know, the scientists said these two creatures couldn't be controlled.”

Crystal smiled. “Clearly, they never met their mother.”

Five Nights at the Braithwaites

Keaton and Karen Braithwaite had one simple goal this Halloween: get all five children out the door without anyone crying.

Charlie, dressed as Foxy from Five Nights at Freddy's, kept jumping out of closets to scare his sisters. Dorothy, a beautiful princess, was issuing royal orders and demanding everyone address her as "Your Majesty." Eleanore, dressed as Hermione, was attempting spells on her siblings, while Florence, a penguin, waddled around the house refusing to walk like a normal person.

And little Edith? The dinosaur had discovered that biting people got their attention.

"CHARLIE! Stop scaring your sisters!" Karen shouted.

"Your Majesty doesn't LIKE being scared!" Dorothy screamed.

"EXPELLIARMUS!" Eleanore yelled, pointing her wand at Charlie.

Florence fell over. Edith bit Keaton.

By the time they reached the Halloween party, Keaton's shirt was torn, Karen's hair was a disaster, and both had dark circles under their eyes.

"Wow!" exclaimed another guest. "You two look terrifying! What are your costumes?"

Keaton looked at Karen. Karen looked at Keaton.

"We have five kids."

The guest nodded sympathetically.

The Dragon Who Ruled the Kingdom

Sir Eric Brown-Beard was the bravest knight in the kingdom. His son Oliver was training to follow in his footsteps, while Princess Joelle and Princess Evalynn enjoyed a peaceful life in the castle.

Then came Gilbert.

The tiny dragon had conquered the living room, destroyed three towers of blocks, and was now terrorizing the royal family with a roar that sounded suspiciously like a tantrum.

"Fear not!" Eric declared. "We shall slay the beast!"

Oliver charged forward with his sword. Gilbert giggled, grabbed the weapon, and whacked his father in the knee.

"MAN DOWN!" Eric cried.

Princess Evalynn attempted to reason with the dragon, but Gilbert responded by drooling on her dress.

Finally, Princess Joelle stepped forward.

"Enough! I know how to handle this monster."

She reached into her bag and produced a handful of Goldfish crackers.

Gilbert immediately surrendered.

The kingdom was saved, the knights were humiliated, and peace was restored.

Unfortunately, the dragon had discovered he could demand more gold every twenty minutes.

The royal treasury was bankrupt by bedtime.

Cruella's Soft Spot

Alexis Carlos was the most feared villain in town. With her fabulous fur coat and loyal henchman Kayden, she had spent years plotting to capture the perfect Dalmatian.

Then one Halloween, Kayden arrived with a surprise.

“Madam, I've finally found the perfect puppy!”

Alexis gasped. There, wrapped in a spotted blanket, was little Haven, the most adorable Dalmatian she'd ever seen.

“At last!” Alexis declared. “My collection is complete!”

But something unexpected happened. Haven looked up at her, giggled, and reached out her tiny arms.

For the first time in her life, Cruella's icy heart melted.

Within minutes, Alexis was cuddling the puppy, speaking in baby talk, and promising to buy her every toy in the store.

Kayden watched in disbelief.

“Madam, what about your plans for the fur coat?”

Alexis glared at him.

“Kayden! Don't be ridiculous! This puppy needs a wardrobe of her own!”

And just like that, the world's most notorious puppy thief became the world's most fabulous mom.

The Hail Mary

CJ and Katie Carlos had promised the girls a fun Halloween night, but there was one small problem. The football game was tied with thirty seconds remaining.

“Just one more play!” CJ pleaded.

Their teenage daughter Rylin, dressed as an angel, rolled her eyes. “You've been saying that for an hour.”

Little Randi, dressed as Ms. Rachel, stood in front of the television, clapping excitedly.

With three seconds remaining, CJ jumped to his feet.

“We need a miracle!”

Rylin sighed. “Fine.”

She waved her angel wings, and suddenly the football changed direction in midair, landing perfectly in the receiver's hands.

“TOUCHDOWN!” CJ screamed.

Katie stared at Rylin. “Did you just...?”

“Don't ask.”

Randi giggled and clapped, completely unaware that her sister had just altered the course of football history.

The next morning, sports commentators were still analyzing the impossible play.

Meanwhile, CJ was already planning next week's game.

Rylin shook her head. “I'm an angel, Dad. Not your personal good luck charm.”

A Case of Mistaken Identity

Kelli Courtney arrived at the Halloween party dressed as a cheerful clown, while her little daughter Madi wore the black wings of a dark angel.

Unfortunately, things didn't go quite as planned.

Kelli's enormous smile and wild makeup frightened half the children at the party. Meanwhile, Madi spent the evening looking absolutely adorable, despite her supposedly sinister costume.

By the end of the night, Kelli had been voted Scariest Adult, and Madi was a contender for Most Adorable.

Kelli sighed. “I think we got our costumes backward.”

Madi just smiled.

Apparently, the dark angel had a brighter side than the clown.

Happily Ever After...

Prince Charming Brion Flinders had rescued his beautiful Snow White, Bekah, and was looking forward to a peaceful life in their enchanted kingdom.

Then they had children.

Their daughter Libby, dressed as Rapunzel, had taken over the tallest tower in the castle, while little Jameson, convinced he was Lightning McQueen, had turned the royal hallways into a racetrack.

One evening, Brion consulted the kingdom's magic mirror.

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall, when will peace return to us all?"

The mirror paused.

"According to my calculations... approximately eighteen years."

Brion sighed. "Is there anything we can do?"

"Well," replied the mirror, "you could try having seven dwarfs help with the housework."

Bekah shook her head. "Absolutely not. I've already got three people to clean up after!"

And they lived happily ever after...

Despicable Family?

Russ Glover, better known as Kermit the Frog, had one simple Halloween wish: a quiet evening with his family.

His wife Jenny was Miss Piggy, and their interspecies relationship had inadvertently created a family of supervillains. Well, two supervillains and a giant blue blob.

Camden, dressed as Vector, had designed an ingenious machine to steal the neighborhood's Halloween candy. His brother Asher, dressed as Gru, improved the invention, and together they pulled off the greatest candy heist in Halloween history.

Their sister Addison, dressed as B.O.B., volunteered to guard their enormous pile of stolen candy.

Unfortunately, B.O.B. had a bit of an appetite.

By the time the boys returned, nothing remained but empty wrappers.

"YOU ATE EVERYTHING?!" the brothers shouted.

B.O.B. shrugged. "I thought we were sharing."

Jenny stormed into the room. "AND WHO ATE THE CHOCOLATES I WAS SAVING?!"

The three teenagers exchanged confused glances.

Kermit quietly backed toward the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jenny demanded.

"To find a nice quiet swamp."

Jenny narrowed her eyes. "Russ, what's that on your face?"

Kermit quickly wiped a streak of chocolate from his mouth.

"Uh... pond scum?"

The three teenagers exchanged impressed glances.

After all their elaborate schemes, Dad had pulled off the perfect heist.

The Case of the Missing Candy

Clint Hanson, dressed as Shaggy, had been looking forward to Halloween all year. His wife Erica, dressed as Daphne, had one rule: nobody touches the candy until the party.

But when the family returned from trick-or-treating, the entire candy bowl was empty!

"JINKIES!" shouted little Jane, dressed as Velma. "We've got a mystery!"

Her brother Graham, dressed as Scooby-Doo, sniffed around the kitchen while Jane searched for clues.

Suddenly, a strange growling noise came from the pantry.

"Like, let's get outta here!" Clint shouted.

Erica opened the pantry door, revealing a mysterious figure hiding beneath a blanket.

Graham pulled away the blanket, and everyone gasped.

It was Clint, surrounded by candy wrappers!

Jane crossed her arms. "Mystery solved!"

Clint sighed, clutching his last chocolate bar.

"And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!"

Erica smiled. "Congratulations, detectives. Now your father's doing the dishes for a month."

A Sticky Situation

Jen Hanson had the perfect idea for a family Halloween costume. She'd be the marshmallow, her son Kamden the graham cracker, and her daughter Brinlynn the chocolate.

Together, they were the perfect s'more!

Unfortunately, nobody considered what would happen when they gathered around the Halloween bonfire.

Within minutes, Jen was sweating, Brinlynn was melting, and Kamden was complaining that everyone kept leaning on him.

"Mom, this was a terrible idea!" Kamden groaned.

"Nonsense!" Jen replied. "We're adorable!"

Just then, a little boy approached with a roasting stick.

"Excuse me, are you guys supposed to be snacks?"

Brinlynn looked at her mother.

"Great, Mom. Now we're on the menu."

The family quickly abandoned the bonfire.

For the rest of the evening, they stuck together.

Literally.

A Weekend at the Overlook

Dustin Hirschi had been looking forward to a quiet weekend at the Overlook Hotel. Unfortunately, his wife Kendra and their friend Leena had other plans.

Dressed as the creepy Grady twins, the two women spent the evening appearing at opposite ends of dark hallways.

"Come play with us, Dustin. Forever... and ever..."

After the twelfth encounter, Dustin had finally had enough.

He disappeared into Room 237, determined to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Minutes later, Kendra and Leena heard a terrible crash.

The door flew open, and Dustin burst into the hallway.

"HEEEERE'S JOHNNY!"

The women screamed.

Then Kendra burst out laughing.

"That was PERFECT! Do it again!"

Leena pulled out her phone. "Yeah, I wasn't recording!"

By morning, Dustin had performed the scene forty-seven times, destroyed two doors, and received a bill for $3,800 in hotel damages.

The twins gave his performance five stars.

The hotel gave him a lifetime ban.

The Newlywed Nightmare

After finding love again, Mike and Julie Jenkins were celebrating their first Halloween as newlyweds.

Mike, dressed as Jack Skellington, was determined to make the occasion unforgettable. His beautiful bride Julie, dressed as Sally, was just hoping he'd behave himself.

"Darling, I've planned a little surprise!" Mike announced.

Julie entered the house to discover dancing skeletons, a fog machine working overtime, and a spooky organ playing their wedding march.

"Mike, what on earth have you done?"

"It's our first Halloween as husband and wife! It has to be spectacular!"

Just then, the fog machine exploded, the skeletons collapsed, and Mike tripped over a pumpkin, sending his skull rolling across the floor.

Julie calmly retrieved his head and placed it back on his shoulders.

"Well, that didn't take long."

"What didn't?" Mike asked.

"We've barely been married, and you've already lost your head!"

Mike grinned. "I lost it the moment I fell for you."

Julie smiled. "Nice recovery, Jack."

You've Got a Friend in Me

Don Jones, dressed as Sheriff Woody, had been keeping the peace in Andy's room for decades. His sweetheart Ann, dressed as Bo Peep, had been by his side through it all.

But lately, Woody had been worried that he was becoming an antique.

"My knees creak, my boots are worn out, and somebody pulled my string yesterday and nothing happened!"

Ann smiled. "Oh, Woody. You're not old. You're a classic!"

Determined to prove he still had it, Don climbed onto his trusty steed Bullseye.

"There's a snake in my boot!" he shouted.

Ann raised an eyebrow. "Don, that's your shoelace. And Bullseye is a rocking horse."

Don kicked his heels, but Bullseye just rocked back and forth.

"Well, there goes my big comeback," he sighed.

Ann took his hand. "Don't worry, sweetheart. We're still a couple of classics."

Don smiled. "Mint condition?"

The Joker's Last Laugh

Jeff Jones, better known as the Joker, had planned the greatest Halloween prank Gotham had ever seen.

His wife Vanessa, dressed as Catwoman, would sneak through the shadows. Their son Ryker, wearing his terrifying Jason mask, would lurk in the hallway. Evalynn, disguised as M3GAN, would control the lights and play creepy voices through hidden speakers.

And Sebastian? The dinosaur was in charge of the final terrifying roar.

Everything was ready. Jeff could hardly contain his excitement.

But just as he reached for the switch, the lights went out.

A creepy voice whispered, "Why so serious, Daddy?"

Jeff froze.

Suddenly, Jason appeared behind him. Catwoman snatched his flashlight, and a giant dinosaur came charging out of the darkness.

"AAAAAAHHHH!"

Jeff stumbled backward, landing in a pile of plastic skeletons.

The lights came on, revealing his entire family laughing hysterically.

Evalynn smiled. "I made a few changes to your plan."

Vanessa grinned. "You married a cat burglar, Jeff. Did you really think we wouldn't steal your prank?"

And for the first time in Gotham history, the Joker was the only one who wasn't laughing.

A Little Hocus Pocus

Becky Linford had spent weeks perfecting a spell to make their house the spookiest on the block. Her husband Joe, a powerful warlock, offered to help.

"Just a little extra magic," he promised.

At sunset, Becky waved her wand. Fog rolled across the lawn, jack-o'-lanterns began laughing, and ghostly figures appeared in the windows.

Then Joe snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, the house sprouted enormous chicken legs, stood up, and started marching down the street!

"JOE! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

"You said you wanted a haunted house!"

"I said HAUNTED, not one that goes haunting!"

The couple chased their house for three blocks before Becky finally brought it to a stop.

Joe looked rather pleased with himself.

"Well, you have to admit, nobody else has decorations like ours."

Becky glared at him.

"One more word, and you're spending Halloween as a toad."

An Arm and a Leg

Mike Morrison checked into the hospital wearing a patient gown, accompanied by his wife Julie, a walking skeleton.

After several tests, the doctor returned with good news.

"Mike, you're perfectly healthy! Nothing to worry about."

Relieved, Mike headed to the front desk to settle the bill.

The receptionist smiled. "Unfortunately, your visit is going to cost an arm and a leg."

Julie sighed, pulled off one of her bony arms, detached a leg, and dropped them on the counter.

"There! Paid in full!"

The receptionist stared at the pile of bones.

"Actually, ma'am, that's just the deductible."

Julie turned to Mike.

"Next time you get a headache, take an aspirin!"

Gotham's Greatest Criminal Mastermind

Alex Nebeker, better known as Batman, was convinced he could solve any crime. His wife Cassie, dressed as Catwoman, decided it was time to test that theory.

She enlisted their four children in an elaborate scheme to steal Batman's prized utility belt.

Byron, dressed as a ninja, slipped silently into the Batcave. Adeline, disguised as a stop sign, stood guard at the entrance.

When Batman approached, he shouted, "Out of my way! I'm Batman!"

"Sorry, Dad. It's the law."

Meanwhile, Kya directed the operation, and little Berrett successfully smuggled the belt out of the Batcave.

By the time Batman realized what had happened, the entire family had vanished.

Hours later, he received a mysterious ransom note.

If you ever want to see your utility belt again, surrender the television remote.

Batman stared at the note in disbelief.

He'd defeated the Joker, the Riddler, and countless supervillains.

But apparently, he'd finally met his match.... On family movie night.

Despicably Ever After

Devin and Kennedy Tanner were still enjoying newlywed bliss when they decided to dress as Minions for Halloween.

Unfortunately, neither realized that marrying a Minion meant signing up for a lifetime of questionable decisions.

Determined to impress his new bride, Devin decided to make her breakfast in bed.

He carefully prepared pancakes, scrambled eggs, and a banana smoothie.

But the moment Kennedy spotted the bananas, something snapped.

"BANANA!"

She lunged for the blender. Devin tried to stop her, slipped on a banana peel, and sent breakfast flying across the room.

Kennedy burst into laughter.

Devin sighed. "For better or worse, right?"

Kennedy kissed him on the cheek.

"BANANA!"

"BANANA!" "BANANA!" "BANANA!"

Six Blindsided Mice

The Glover family was running late for the Halloween party when Grandma Dorothy, dressed as a cat, insisted she knew a shortcut.

"Down that creepy dirt road?" Mike asked.

"Trust me," Dorothy purred.

Mike, Tristen, Rebekah, Rylee, Grayson, and Reece reluctantly followed her down a narrow gravel road, past an abandoned farmhouse with a weathered sign reading BEWARE OF WITCH.

Suddenly, a flash of green light filled the road, followed by six tiny squeaks.

Dorothy turned around to discover six frightened mice where her family had been standing.

Before she could figure out what had happened, her feline instincts took over.

CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!

Six mice disappeared in six bites.

The One-Star Haunting

On their way to the Halloween party, the Weller family decided to stop at a haunted house.

Corbin was unimpressed.

"Plastic spiders? Fake cobwebs? I've seen scarier things in our basement!"

Michelle agreed. "And these actors aren't even trying!"

Keenan laughed at a zombie, while Tigue complained that nothing had jumped out at him.

An elderly caretaker overheard their complaints.

"Perhaps you'd prefer our VIP experience," he whispered.

The family eagerly followed him through a mysterious door marked EMPLOYEES ONLY.

Suddenly, the door slammed shut. The lights flickered, the walls began moving, and dozens of ghostly hands reached from the darkness.

"LET US OUT!" the family screamed.

Outside, visitors were lining up to hear the terrifying screams coming from inside.

"BEST HAUNTED HOUSE EVER!" someone shouted.

The Wellers never made it to the Halloween party.

But the haunted house received hundreds of five-star reviews that night.

And somewhere behind its walls, a haunting voice can still be heard.

"I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER!"
